8-10.5 years

Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10.5 who:
 

  • Master new skills and try new things

  • Have fun and go on adventures

  • Make friends

  • Are curious about the world around them

  • Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

Meetings

We have three Cub packs that meet at Scout HQ in term-time at 1st Twyford:

​

Eagles – Mondays 18:30 – 19:45

Cobras – Tuesdays 18:30 – 19:45

Buffalos – Wednesdays 18:45 – 20:00

Get involved...

We're always looking for new Scout leaders, fundraising volunteers, committee members and occasional helpers. Whether you've got a little or a lot of time to spare, we need your help! 

Joining Cubs

We welcome applications for entry into the Cubs section if your child is currently 7 years or older.

​

All applications for places at Cubs should be made through our OSM platform.

​

We regularly review applications and will contact when we are able to offer your child a place.

Cub uniform

You don't need a uniform to join. But once you've settled in, you'll start speedily earning badges, and you'll need to know where to put them!

​

For Summer & Activity wear, we have an optional range of purple tops available via our 1st Twyford Scouts Online shop.
